Gerda SCHENNACH has a Diploma (MSc) in geodesy from the Technical University Innsbruck and the Vienna Institute of Technology. She is graduated from a commercial college as well.
From 1978 – 1981 she worked as an assistant at the Dept. of Mathematical Analysis at the Vienna Institute of Technology. Since 1981 she was affiliated to the Austrian Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV).
Between 1983 and 1998 Mrs. Schennach was Director of regional Cadastral offices and since 1998 she holds the function of a senior advisor for International affairs in the Headquarters of BEV.
Mrs. Schennach is a founding member of the Austrian Umbrella Organization for GI (AGEO) to which she was a Secretary General since the foundation in 1998 and since 2012 she is the Vice-President of this association. She has been several times elected to the Executive Board of EUROGI.
Since 1998 she is a member of the Executive Board of the Austrian Society for Surveying and Geoinformation (OVG- FIG member assoc.). She is a permanent correspondent of BEV in several European institutions (EuroGeographics, Eurostat, e.a.) and a member of the German Society for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management (DVW) since 1984.
Between 1998 and 2007 she was Secretary-General of the European Council of Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE).
Between 2005-2014 Mr. Schennach was a Vice-Chair of the Working Group for equal rights in the Austrian federal Ministry of Economy, Youth and Family.
Mrs. Schennach was a Vice-Chair of Administration of FIG Commission 3 from 1990-1994, Vice-Chair of Commission 7 and Chair of WP 7.3 “Cadastral perspectives” between 2011 - 2014.
Mrs. Schennach is elected Chairperson of FIG Commision 7 “Cadastre and Land Management” for the term of office 2015 – 2018 and a member of the FIG Council for the term 2017-2018.

Gyula IVÁN has a master degree in civil engineering (faculty of surveying and geodesy) from Technical University of Budapest, HUNGARY. He is currently the Chief Adviser on Land Administration at the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest, Department of Geodesy Remote Sensing and Land Offices. He was the vice-chair of administration in FIG Commission 7 (Cadastre & Land Management) between 2006-2010, and currently Vice Chair of Commission 7 (Chair of WG 7.4, Citizen Cadastre). He is a member of Hungarian Association of Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing, member of FIG, and deputy Secretary General of the Association.

He is a Professional Land Surveyor of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and was a Governing Council Member for several years. He was a key member of the committee responsible for international relations and export of professional services, a member of and the current President of the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana www.lisagh.org , a member of the International Federation of Surveyors and the Chair for Commission 8 in charge of spatial planning and economic development www.fig.net , an associate member of the Commonwealth Association of Surveyors and Land Economists and has had over 30years experience in land surveying and land administration in both Ghana and Nigeria in West Africa. Kwame is the Managing Director of Geo – Zenith Limited, a firm he founded since 1993. Since 2010, Geo Zenith Limited has been rebranded to UDANET LIMITED with expanded business to include construction and professional capacity building consultancies for land surveying professionals in West Africa. Kwame is multi – lingual and has working knowledge level of French and Spanish. Mr. Constantin Chirila is an Associate Professor at the "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iasi, the Faculty of Hydrotechnical Engineering, Geodesy and Environmental Engineering. He graduated in 2001 as a Geodetic Engineer, with a Cadastre specialization at the Technical University of Iasi. Then he joined the teaching staff of the “Surveying and Cadastre” Department, the Faculty of Hydrotechnical Engineering, Geodesy and Environmental Engineering in Iasi. Since 2009, he is Director of “Surveying and Cadastre” Department He is the organizer of the “Surveying and Cadastre” Bachelor and "Geomatics and Cartography" Master Degree Programs. His main researches are in the field of Geodesy and Cartography. His Ph.D thesis, “Contributions to the methods of realization of cartographical database for digital plans and maps”, was published in 2008 under the scientific coordination of Professor Gheorghe Nistor. He is a member of the Romanian Surveyors Union and a founding member of “Young Researchers in Photogrammetry” Association. He is the Vice-president of the organizing committee of "Geomat" international symposium and a member of other organizing and scientific committees of national and international conferences. He is a regional correspondent of the "Journal of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre", edited by the Romanian Surveyors Union.

Mr. Petre Iuliu Dragomir graduated in 1971 from the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest, Romania.
His first assignment was as geodetical engineer at the Institute for Studies and Hydropower Designs, Bucharest.
In 1975 Mr. Dragomir started his academic career at the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest holding the Assistant position.
He obtained his Ph.D. Diploma in 1988 and reached the position of Professor in 1993.
Between1996 and 2015 he held the management roles: Vice Dean of the Faculty of Geodesy and Head of Department of Surveying and Cadastre.
Parallel to the academic career, he supported, as a consultant, the World Bank project that introduced General Cadastre and Land Registration in Romania (1999-2006).Between 2006-2011 he was
- General Director of Geodesy and Cadastre Department, at the National Office of Cadastre, Geodesy and Cartography (ONCGC)
- Deputy General Director and Director of Geodesy and Cartography Department, at the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI).
Mr. Dragomir is a founding member of the Romanian Surveyors Union, performing as chairman of the Engineering Surveying Committee and member of the Romanian Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
Author of numerous books, publications in different scientific journals and at national and international professional conferences.
All this time he was a member in numerous organizing committees, scientifically committees, participating various national and international workshops and symposiums.

Ana-Cornelia Badea is Associate Professor at the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest, acting as Manager of the Research Center - Geodetic Engineering Measurements and Spatial Data Infrastructures, as well as FIG Representative for UTCB. In 2017 she obtained her Habilitation in Geodetic Engineering with thesis “3D Modeling of the Real World – Cadastre, Real Estate Registration and GIS for Sustainable Development”.
She graduated at Faculty of Geodesy, Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, Geodesy specialization, obtaining a Merit Diploma in 1998 and obtained her PhD in Geodesy – Civil Engineering with thesis "Contributions to the Achievement of an Information System for Integrating Cadastre and Land Book" with "Cum Laude" distinction in 2008. She holds a BSc. degree in Law, she has earned her MSc. in Law - Judicial Career specialization and also graduated from National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA), obtaining her MSc. in Project Management in 2013.
She is President of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Geodesy, Carthography and Cadastre, Romanian Surveyors Union, member of the Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Romanian Society and member of „Astronomia 21” Association.
During the time she was involved in the research projects of the Faculty of Geodesy and she collaborated with ANCPI for development of technical normatives.
She is author or coauthor of over 100 scientific papers and 10 books and she was involved in the organizing or scientific committees of national and international symposiums, being also involved as reviewer in many journal committees.

Dr Velpuri is also the Chair of working group 9.2, FIG (member of UNGGIM-GSS). Dr Velpuri is also the executive director for TLF Consortium, Switzerland. Dr Velpuri is an MIT certified fintech specialist and has been working in financial consulting for over ten years.
As Chair of working group 9.2 - Valuation and Real estate management through Fintech, extensive research on innovations through Fintech has been presented at High level Forums in World bank, UNGGIM expert group meetings on Land administration. Dr Velpuri is the FIG-ISO Liaison representative for ISO - TC 211 - Distributed Ledger technologies and Blockchain. Dr Velpuri is also a recognised expert for European commission consultation on Fintech in addition to representing Blockchain mirror-committees of Danish standards organisation

Being an active valuer mainly in the field of business valuation, he activates as an associate professor in enterprise valuation at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, UAV Arad, Romania and he currently lectures at ANEVAR′s courses and continuous training programs. Prior to teaching valuation, Mr. Manate followed a 20 years career in investments funds industry, in positions like director of strategy or director of research. He holds Bachelor’s degrees as Economist and Engineer, he is PhD in Accounting and an Accredited Valuer in Enterprise Valuation (ANEVAR). He is also a member of professional bodies like TEGoVA and RICS.

Mr. Ionut Savoiu, is the natioanl representative of FIG Commision 3, in Romania. Between 2012 and 2016 Mr. Savoiu was member of The Romanian Parliament – Vice-president of IT&C Commission. From 2005 to 2012, he was country managing director of Blom Romania and international consultant in Blom International. During the Blom Romania period, Ionut Savoiu was in charge of business development, sales and projects in Romania and countries in East Europe. Further Ionut was responsible of mapping and GIS production for Blom Group. In 2004, he was appointed as Deputy General Manager of National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (NACLR), Romania. He is honorary advisor to the Board of the Romanian Surveyors Association. Ionut Savoiu graduated from Faculty of Geodesy – Technical University for Construction Bucharest, Romania. His diploma was prepared at Institute for Photogrammetry – Hannover University, Germany. He holds an MBA at IEDC - School of management Bled, Slovenia.

Catalin-Niculae Sarbu graduated the Institute of Architecture “Ion Mincu” Bucharest in 1977. He received in 2001 Ph.D from the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” (former Institute). Between 2001 -2004 he was Scientific Director of National Institute for Researches and Development URBANPROIECT Bucharest. Cătălin-Niculae Sârbu is from 2004 Prof. dr. arch. at the ”Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Faculty of Urbanism. During his activity he was there Department Director and Vice Dean. His works covers both projects of urbanism and architecture but as well of territorial development and planning. Its interests go for sustainable spatial development, the expansion of the cities and the continuous man-nature co-evolutions. Mr. Johan Neuner, graduated in 1975 from the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest, Romania. At first, he worked as geodetical engineer at the Cadastre Office, Ilfov County.
Since 1979 Mr. Neuner starts his academicals career at the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest with the position of Assistant and reached in 2000 to the position of Professor. In 1993 Mr. Neuner obtained his Ph.D. Diploma.
From 1996 he owns forthcoming the functions: Head of Department of Surveying and Cadastre, Dean of the Faculty of Geodesy, Rector of the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest and now he is the President of the Senate of the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest.
Mr. Neuner is founder member of the Union of Romanian Geodesy, being its president from 2004 to 2014. Mr. Neuner is also President of the Commission for Geodesy and Geophysics by the Romanian Academy and corresponding member of the “Deutsche Geodätische Kommission (DGK) – Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften”. Since 1991 he is also member of “Deutscher Verein für Vermessungswesen – Germany“.
Since 2011 he is delegate from the Romanian Space Agency – ROSA in the Programme Board on Satellite Navigation PBNAV - European Space Agency-ESA, and at present ROSA delegate in “Navigation Innovation and Support Programme (NAVISP)” - European Space Agency (ESA).
He is member of the UNESCO National Commission – Sub commission for Education;

Dr. Ralf W. Schroth, studied Geodesy and Surveying from 1972 up to 1977 at the University of Stuttgart, in 1979 he obtained his degree as legal surveyor, and in 1985 obtained the degree of Doktor-Ingenieur. From 1984 till 2008 he has been working with the company Hansa Luftbild in Muenster, where he was acting in different managing positions like as managing director and member of the board of the Hansa Luftbild Group. From 2008 till 2016 Ralf Schroth was working for the Norwegian Blom Group as managing director in Germany and Romania, business development director for central and eastern Europe and organizing the off-shore production at Blom International Operations SRL, Romania. Since 2017 he is co-owner of Blom Germany and Director at Blom International Operations Romania. Ralf Schroth has many years of experiences in business administration and management, project management, Photogrammetry and Geo-Information systems. From 1991 till 2015 he has been lecturer at the University of Hanover for business administration and management for surveying engineers. In 1997 he got the appointment as honorary Professor from the University of Hanover. From 2004 till 2008 he was also lecturer at the Institute of Geomatics at the Polytechnic University of Barcelona and since 2015 at the Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart. Ralf Schroth is member of DVW - Gesellschaft für Geodäsie, Geoinformation und Landmanagement, Deutscher Gesellschaft für Photogrammetrie, Fernerkundung und Geoinformation (DGPF) and Uniunii Geodezilor din Romania.

Associate Professor SAVU Adrian, was born in the commune of Petrova, Maramureş County, a village with traditions, bathed by the waters of the river Vişeu. He attended the general school Alexandru Filipascu from his native village and the Dragoş Vodă high school in Sighetul Marmaţiei. He is admitted to the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, the Faculty of Geodesy in 1993, graduating as an engineer in 1998. In 1999 he obtained the Diploma of In-depth Studies in the Specialization of Three-dimensional Positioning Systems and in 2010 Diploma of PhD Fundamental "Engineering Sciences", field "Civil Engineering", with the thesis "Improvement of topographic and geodetic works in the lines of communication", also graduated from National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA), obtaining her MSc. in Project Management in 2015. He is ARACIS Evaluator, from commissions C10 and C11, member of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing National Society, member of the "Astronomia 21" Association, editor-in-chief of the Journal of Geodesy, Carthography and Cadastre, Romanian Surveyors Union. She is author or coauthor of over 50 scientific papers and 5 specialist books and has participated in more than 20 research contracts.

Prof.Ph.D Eng. Constantin Cosarca graduated the Faculty of Geodesy Bucharest, the 1981 promotion. Since 1986 he has been employed at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, initially as a research engineer and since 1990 as a teacher. In 1999 he received a Ph.D from the same University for his thesis "Modernization of Topographical Technologies to the Execution and Exploitation of the Engineering Constructions – Applications of the Measurements Techniques in Industry". He has graduated all academic degrees and - since 2014 - is a university professor. In this capacity he edited several courses of Engineering Measurements, Measuring Systems in Industry, Surveying. As a researcher, he published over 60 articles in volumes of specialized scientific manifestations (congresses, conferences, symposiums national and international) and also he was Coordinator (Responsible for the Contract) or member of the research team in over 40 projects / research grants achieved through TUCEB. During the time he was acting in the private sector and as a specialized technical expert, and he was responsible for the contract in over 20 works made by private companies. He is member of the Union of Geodesists from Romania since 1990 and of the Romanian Society of Photogrammetry.
