The FACULTY OF GEOGRAPHY was organized in 1990, at first having two specializations (Geography and the Environmental Science), to which were added in 1993, the College of Cartography and Cadastre (having three years of studies); in 1997 – the Geography of Tourism, Geography – a foreign language, the College of Hydrology – Meteorology and Surveillance of Environmental Quality
Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering
In the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering you can find 4 major fields of study: Land Reclamation and Rural Development, Environmental Protection and Agricultural Engineering, Land Measurement and Cadastral Survey and Construction Management and Engineering. Also organize Msc programmes: Rural Engineering and Environmental Protection, Geomatics for Land Management and Investment Management in Ecosystems. The faculty is supported by a state-of-the-art infrastructure, consisting of lecture halls, seminar rooms, technological platforms and highly equipped laboratories.
