Invitation GeoPreVi 2017
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the International Symposium GeoPreVi 2017 which will take place at the Convention Center of the Ramada Plaza in Bucharest, Romania, between 14th and 16th of September, 2017. The GeoPreVi 2017 is a scientific event of the Faculty of Geodesy - Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest and will be organized this year in cooperation with FIG Commissions 7, 8 and 9, Romanian Surveyors Union, Romanian Association of Private Surveyors and National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration and having the following partners: the Faculty of Land Reclamation and Environmental Engineering - University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, the Faculty of Geography - University of Bucharest, Faculty of Urbanism - University of Architecture and Urbanism ”Ion Mincu” Bucharest and the National Association of Romanian Valuators.
GeoPreVi 2017 is the most important surveying event held in Romania this year. We are expecting more than 200 surveyors, land administration, spatial planning and development and land valuation specialists from around 10 countries to be present starting with 14th of September in Bucharest.
This year, International Symposium GeoPreVi 2017 is inspired by generous idea of „Smart Solutions for a Secure and Valuable Property” comprehensive and divers work of surveyors from all over the world.
We are sure that GeoPreVi 2017 will create the professional frame and environment for discussions, exchanging knowledge and experience among surveyors, land administration, spatial planning and development and land valuation professionals. Still it is one more opportunity to enhance the awareness regarding our profession in Romania, Europe and worldwide.
International Symposium GeoPreVi 2017 gives to the participants the opportunity to present papers, debate and communicate in a professional and scientific manner highlighting their own contribution finding out smart technical solutions in order to ensure a more secure and valuable property in the modern and challenging transforming society.
The Faculty of Geodesy, that merges the traditions and excellence in Romanian surveying academic education, together with its outstanding event initiators and co-organizers professional associations, members of The International Federation of Surveyors - the premier international organisation that is supporting the interests of surveyors worldwide and covering the whole range of professional fields within the global surveying community have agreed to focus to very important challenges of the nowadays Romanian society such as land administration, land valuation, spatial planning and development under the impact National Program for Cadastre and Land Registration implemented by the Romanian Government during current decade and planned to be completed in 2023.
